custom minecraft beta 1.7.3 client made from scratch [git repo]

features:

tldr: you can play the game but with a few hindrances of various severities (e.g., can't use doors)

a good renderer
quake/goldsrc/source-like console + some sort of advanced scripting (tcl? lisp? sh? other?)
customizability (via the scripting)
- guis (you decide where the textures, text, item slots, etc. go)
- entity models+animations
- as i'm writing i got this idea that there should be a way to make leaf particles fall from leaf blocks so that too
- moddability (custom net packets, block & item data, entity data, etc.) so that you can play on modded servers (for example BTA)
singleplayer
original vanilla movement instead of quake's (xd)
all the things to replicate the vanilla client's look and feel (this'll probably mark the b173c v1.0 release)
probably a bunch of other things
